Boarding
The majority of the dogs that stay at the kennel are housed in their own indoor/outdoor run.  Each run is 5' x 5' on the inside and 5' x 15' on the outside. The door between the two areas can be raised and lowered to allow your dog to move about as they please (weather permitting).  Runs are heated and air conditioned on the inside, and include heated floors for use during colder temperatures. Each run has 6' privacy walls inside and 3' walls plus chain link fence outside.

Small or elderly dogs can stay in our Little Dog Room (LDR).  This room features indoor runs that are 5' x 5' and dogs are taken outside to a fenced area 5 times a day for potty and play time.

NOTE ON BOARDING DOGS: All dogs must have the following vaccinations administered at least 10 days prior to boarding: Rabies + DHLPPC + Bordatella

  • Boarding Small or Elderly Dogs
For small and/or elderly dogs we feature our Little Dog Room. This room consists of indoor-only runs that are 5' by 5'. These dogs are taken outside to a fenced-in area five times a day for potty time and play time. Our Little Dog Room is meant for the pet that is small and timid and would not be comfortable in our indoor/outdoor runs. It also works very well for elderly dogs that need a little more extra attention and are not as interested in the outside run.

  • Exercise
Our most attractive service is our exercise program. It is based on the fact that most dogs are very social. We have six different exercise yards to accommodate our guests. Our primary yard is 2.5 acres, fenced, and is a perfect place for dogs to run unrestricted and play until their heart’s content. For dogs that need to run in a smaller group, or even by themselves, we have two yards at ½ an acre each and three smaller yards behind the kennel area. We group the dogs together based on their size and personality, and two highly-trained staff members are present at all times. We take toys with us for energetic games of ball, tag and Frisbee, and the exercise sessions are at least 20 minutes in length. NOTE ON RATES: Extra rates apply for exercise programs ($8 per session - up to 2 session per day)

Boarding Cats
Our cat boarding area, or CATTERY, is separate from where the dogs are boarded. All cats stay in a two-level condo, which is approximately 6’ tall by 3’ wide by 3’ deep. The condo is divided into an upper and lower area with shelves to lie on and scratching posts for each cat. In addition to their condos, all cats are let out into the cattery room by themselves to play on the cathouses, or just look out the large picture window. NOTE ON BOARDING CATS: All cats must have the following vaccinations administered at least 10 days prior to boarding: Rabies + FVRCP + FELV

Daycare

We offer daycare for clients who are interested in their pets having a day of play away from home. All pets that come for daycare stay in the same accommodations as if they were boarding. They are also allowed to exercise with other pets that are staying at the facility. Daycare operates during our open hours and is available seven days a week. Please call in advance to schedule daycare.

Pick-up and Delivery
Pick-up and delivery is available to either bring your pet to the kennel or bring him home afterward. Please call for rates and to make advance arrangements.

The Retreat
Our latest addition to Zionsville Country Kennel is The Retreat. It is the area’s first private bark park, and includes a five-acre fenced-in area just to the north of our facility. The park is available from sunrise to sunset for your pet to run and play. Annual passes are issued at the kennel office, and membership is restricted to guests who use one of the facilities at our location.
