Zionsville Country Kennel's "All-Inclusive" services are something you won't find at just any kennel. We take extra steps to ensure that all your pet's needs are met, without the hassle of extra charges or extra worries. When you trust the care, health and happiness of your pet with us, you receive in return with your boarding all of the followng services free of charge:
Feeding Needs
We carry IAMS, SCIENCE DIET and EUKANUBA pet food products for all of our boarded pets. If you require a different food for your pet, you are more than welcome to bring it along. We will feed your pet up to three times per day based upon his or her needs, and will try and follow your pet's feeding routine at home as closely as possible.
Waste Elimination
90%-95% of all dogs will eliminate in the outside portion of their runs during the day. We monitor their eating and elimination habits around the clock, and take them out to a grassy area if they are uncomfortable eliminating in their outside run. Small and/or elderly pets staying in our specialized, indoor Little Dog Room are taken out to a fenced-in yard five times per day.
Medications
If your pet requires any special medications, we will administer them according to the schedule you require. If your pet requires additional medical treatment while in our care, you can either have your pet transfered to the local veterinary facility of your choice, or the Zionsville Country Veterinary Clinic is located on our premises. The clinic is equipped to handle any on-site medical emergencies as well.
Cleanliness/Security
Cleanliness is always a top priority at our facilities. We disinfect daily with the best cleaning products available. Clean food and water pans are replaced daily, and bedding is washed daily and on an as-needed basis. Our facility is monitored for security 24 hours per day. The kennel is equipped with fire, smoke, heat and motion detectors, which are monitored by a professional security company. In addition, the owners of Zionsville Country Kennel live on-site to ensure the added comfort and safety of your pet.
Tours
When considering any new facility in which to board your pet, is is always best to check out the facilities ahead of time. Walk through the facility and ask questions about how your pet will be cared for, exercised, fed and housed, as well as any other concerns you might have. We encourage you to visit our facility for a tour and to ask any questions you may have. We offer a "Trial Day" before you board, when possible. We will not charge you for your pet to visit for a day at our facility if you have a future reservation. Trial days allow your pet to adjust to the facility, realize you're coming back for them, and give you added peace of mind that our facility will be the perfect fit for you and your pet.
