Happy Holidays!
Can you believe it's that time of year already? Miss Kitters certainly can't! It just happens to be my favorite time of year too. I believe in Santa Claus...after all, who else would have left a can of tuna for me last year? It's especially fun around here when the owner, David Brattain, starts humming Christmas tunes. I'll let you all in on a little secret -- Mr. Brattain's dog, Feuer, has an excellent singing voice as well. He's a natural alto.
It's another one of those busy times around the Kennel, of course. It should be a fine old time for our guests over the Christmas holidays. Did you know that at midnight, on Christmas Eve, animals can speak human? Mind you, we don't always have things to say, but our guests and I find it amusing to have a conversation in human on Christmas Eve night. Lots of laughter! If you weren't able to get a reservation for the holidays, you can always put your name on our waiting list. There are usually last minute plan changes, and sometimes a spot or two will open up.
This would also be a great time to cash in your Frequent Border Card. I may have mentioned it in an earlier blog, but ZCK does offer this charming little discount. For every stay, our guests receive one stamp on their Frequent Border Card. After acquiring six stamps, they are elligilble for 2 days free of charge on their next stay! It's a handy card to have, so make sure to ask for one if you don't already have it.
I must be off to write my Christmas cards and do some (online) shopping. I hope you all have a lovely holiday, whichever you celebrate, and a Happy New Year to you too!
