Puppy Training

A puppy is exciting and fun, but can also be quite challenging in those first few months. We realize how important it is for new dog owners to get basic instruction and answers to the things they want to know, and for a puppy to have safe and appropriate socialization opportunities. At ZCK Training, our dynamic and knowledgeable dog trainers work with new puppy owners and their family to unravel the mysteries of puppyhood and head-off potential problems before they begin.

Puppy Kindergarten is perfect for dogs under 5 months old. Classes meet every Wednesday evening from 7-8:00 p.m. and the entire family is encouraged to attend. Class size is limited to no more than 10 dogs so that owners and dogs get the attention they deserve. The best part is that you can start anytime...no waiting for the next class to begin! The 6-week series includes:

• 1 informational seminar (no puppies)
• 5 interactive classes (with puppies)
• visits from other pet care providers (such as veterinarian, groomer, kennel owner, etc.)
• plenty of puppy play time
• complimentary nail trim
• 2 free visits to Kennel Camp
• behaviors: sit, down, come, loose-leash walking, leave it
• topics: socialization, house training, crate training, basic manners, handling, resource guarding, leadership, biting/chewing

Private Puppy Class

This is an option for people who can’t make Wednesday evening classes. Give us a call and we’ll schedule individual consultations and/or socialization opportunities that work with your schedule.
